Goal again is 1500 cals or under.. and a couple hrs of cardio!!!

 So far: 550 cals consumed!

Aug 31st!

Today was successful! I got to 1500ish calores.

Gym:

65 min of elliptical forward (470 cals)

35 min of elliptical backward (230 cals)

Danced in my room (60 min)

SOooooOooOO Overall not bad! I am officially at my highest weight since being with my husband.. and it makes me sick. I hope to stay on track. I need to :( I hate feeling so ugly and my self confidence is like shot..

August 26th, 2009 (DAY 1)

Ok, I have been a bad bad girl!

I haven’t been going on here cuz I have been on vacation vacation vacation! and the scale shows I have enjoyed it tooooo much! SO back to square one… but I really feel determined and ready! I promised my husband I’d be confident in a bikini for our trip to Hawaii at the end of December! SO I have about 4 months! (Plus we have a wedding to go to.. and xmas and all those fun things.. so I wanna look the best that I can!!!)

I am going to try and only weigh in once a week, every Friday morning.. I am weighing today because it is a starting point, but I really wanna stick to Fridays.. I seem to be at my lowest on these days and maybe I won’t obsess as much as I seem to!

I am going to the grocery store today to load up on all healthy things.. and plan to cook a loooooot! that seems to be the problem.. eating out.. ugh.. im so weak! I gotta get it together and eat more clean and healthy!

Workouts will remain the same: 60+ min of cardio/day, one day off a week. Balance Ball DVD 2 times a week, and toning on gym machines 2-3 times a week!

Calories: 1200-1400 (max) I need to stay in this range.. or I will go way overboard!

I really wanna eat as clean as I can.. but I know it will be hard at first.. once I get in the rhythm I think it will be easier… SIGH! I want this sooo badly…. I can’t believe I let myself get so lost and outta control.. this is the biggest I have been in so long!!!

Day 1 Weight: 185.0

Goal Weight: 145.0

0 lbs lost, 40 lbs to go!

August 4th, 2009

Yesterday I had an awesome day..

I ate really healthy and lots of food.. but only got to 1200 calories

Was at the gym for almost 3 hrs reading.. burned about 1000 calories

I know I should have eaten more calories, but I had so many fruits and a lot of protein so I was really fun!

Today:

Whole Grain GoldFish-200

Boca Burger Patty -120

Grapes-50

Pop Chips-230

Nuts-100

700 calories so far. Most likely an indian microwavable meal which is 590 cals, which will take me to about 1300 calories! But maybe salad and soup instead..

Gym: A couple of hours.. I’ll defin update later.. and maybe balance ball dvd as well! :)

 Ok, so I ended up heating a lean cuisine -280 cals and baked some asparagus w/EVOO salt/pepper.. Mmmmm! -220 cals?

So 700+500 =1200 calories!

I kinda wanna have a sugar free creamsicle because it is SO hot.. so that will take me to 1300, and then I will workout! :)

July 30th, DAY 1

Sigh, I know day 1 are are prolly thinking? I have messed up big time and I dunno how it happened.. :(

W-181.4 wow. that is officially the highest I have ever weighed since high school. wth is wrong with me.. I was 176 a couple weeks ago!!!! my vacation screwed me over big time and I didn’t get back on track right away like I needed to.. I’m pretty down and depressed about this.. I feel gross and can’t even look myself in the mirror.. it hurts to feel the difference in my arms and thighs.. and stomach.. its just gross :( How could I let this happen… I was doing so well.. RAWR

Sorry for the vent, just feeling down and needing a fresh start. I know I can do this. Ive done it before.. but why is it so much harder this time??! gahhh

I really need to write down every single thing I eat so I am accountable.. and need to plan and stick to it! The working out isn’t a problem now that I’m home, but the food just gets outta control! its just food.. like honestly??!!

Today I am going to have a good day and take it day by day by day!

Lunch: Southwestern salad in a bag

Snack: Serving of nuts

Dinner: Baked chicken, asparagus

Snack: Low fat cottage cheese w/grapes

THAT IS IT! And I want to be sure and not eat anything after 7! no snacking late.. always leads to bad choices! I will be sure and update each night to ensure I stuck to it.. and if I didn’t then punishment tiiiime!!!

I think I’m gunna keep a jar and put a dollar each day I follow, take a dollar out each day I don’t.. this money will be set aside for mini-weight loss rewards.. new bathing suit, etc..  I feel like a kid for needing such a system, but I think it will help me stay on track and thinking about my acions more..

I have less than 3 weeks now, 16 days exactly so closer to 2 weeks to tone up as much as I can, so I need to get serious.. finally.

Update:

Today was sorta a success, but I slipped a lil here and there!

Workout: Gym-Burned 575 calories -75 min on elliptical

Bike Ride to the beach! (the trip was 10 miles and we were gone over 2 hours, but we stopped and walked along the beach n such, so maybe rode the bikes for an hr? I also resisted stopping for ice cream with my husband.. which was SO hard! it was hottt!!!

Food:

Southwest Salad -375

Veggie Sticks-150

Beef/Broccoli w/some white steamed rice-350

Pop Chips -100

Nuts-100

1/2 a roll -100

some mashed potatoes-200

1/2 honeybunches of oats chicken breast -150

asparagus-100

Total: 1600 calories-1700 calories.. Kinda higher than I planned, the chinese food was a setback, but I didn’t eat too late and dinner was really filling and delicious!

Overall however, I’d say a dollar in the jar.. today was better than the days I’ve had recently!

Tuesday “Clean Eating” Day 1

“Clean Eating” versus “detox”..

Plan:

Veggies

Chicken

Minimal Fruit

Vitamin

Water

Egg Whites

Nuts

Beans

FF Milk

(Protein, Fat, Carbs, Veggies, and Fruits all covered!)

Combine one Protein and Veggie per meal/snack

Workout: Balance Ball DVD twice a week, gym 6 days a week

W=179.6 YIKES.. the damage a vacation and a week and a half off of the gym can do! at least it’s not in the 180’s.. but still! gah!

Today I am going to the grocery store to load up on all sorts of healthy snacks/foods.. I think I’m gunna bake some chicken for dinner tonight.. maybe that Special K chicken ;) mmmm! so good! with maybe a salad or some asparagus or broccoli. Yuuuum!! Breakfast I kinda slept through.. I felt so bad last night around 1030.. just fat and ugly and gross.. so I went to the gym for a 2nd time.. just for another hr ish.. burned 400 more.. so the total got up to 1000. I feel so much better today.. even tho the scale sucks.. I just had to go do more damage control!

I plan to go tonight with a friend but I kinda would rather go now.. so we’ll see how I feel.. Then balance ball dvd for toning will also be tonight! I am going to start my new book.. Time travelers wife.. so excited! Its too hard to read on the stairs, but I need to do them today too..

I have so much crap to do around the house today and ive been lazy in bed all morning.. sigh! I need to get moving!

I can’t really eat til I get stuff at the store, so I guess that needs to be first on my to-do list!

Monday Detox Day 1 of 6

Obviously some people don’t understand that I will be eating/drinking plenty but it will all be natural non-processed foods/liquids. Fruits/Veggies in solid/liquid forms, Teas, Chicken Broth, Multi-Vitamin. It is only for 6 days and I’ve read how it can be really good to help clean out your body.. so I am going to give it a go. If I need to I will have some almonds for fat/protein as well.. and allow milk even though this is processed for additional calcium.. so I really dont see it being too “unhealthy”. Come sunday I will go back to counting my cals and trying to eat everything in moderation. Just kinda feel like I need a major detox from processed foods and alcohols.. I think I will feel much better..

Anyway, I am off to the gym! It’s not balance ball day -thats tomo! soooo I am going to just do cardio and read! I’m thinking not much longer than an hr since that’s what the detox suggested.

6 day detox!!

OK, I was outta town allllll week on vacation and did not have internet. Ate poorly and relaxed.. it was vacation! sigh!! I know bad bad bad!!!! But I am going to get back on track and hit the gym tomo hard core! I wanna do 6 days of a liquid detox to get back in balance! Multi-Vitamin and then all fruit/veggie juices and teas and such! I can do this! 6 days 6 days!

Day 32 *7/20/09*

Yet again I failed a weekend..altho it could have been worse. We went to Disneyland yesterday so of course ate poorly, but at least we were walking around for like 10+ hours! sigh!

I’m too scared to weigh because we ate so late last night, and I need to not obsess so much about the number, so measurements should come by tomo.. I know I know.. supposed to be like last week, but Im way too bloated to take them today sigh!

I haven’t been to the gym since 4ever too.. I dunno how I got so off track!!! blah! ok ok, enough complaining and time to get strict! Less than a month to go.. and I mean business!!

I’m actually going on a family vacation this week so it will be tempting to eat poorly, but I’m really gunna try and stay focused and updating so I don’t sway… plus its right on the beach so I am gunna jog on the shoreline every morning :) Should be gorgeous!

Plan today: DAMAGE CONTROL!
